Limiting Beliefs. You’ve heard of them, yes?

limiting beliefsWe all have limiting beliefs that prevent us from living the life we truly crave. Have you stopped recently to think of what yours are?

Identifying your limiting beliefs when it comes to health and fitness is half the battle. Once you identify them, you can start to overcome them.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. Yet, over and over I see women doing that very exact thing…repeating what they have always done and hoping they get a new and different results.

I was once there too. 

What often keeps them stuck are beliefs around health and fitness that they aren’t even aware they have. In this episode, I share the 8 most common beliefs I see in my clients (and also had myself) that are keeping many women from having success.

Let’s break them down for you:

  1. More is more.
  2. Junk food creates weight gain.
  3. Cardio gets you “toned”.
  4. Weight training makes you bulky.
  5. To have what you want requires 100% accuracy and precision.
  6. Food is good and bad.
  7. I’ll be happier when I lose the weight.
  8. My way is NOT the only way.
