She was dying to be a good mother…

And instead, she dropped the guilt and took back control of parenting and her life.

This week’s guest, Heather Chauvin, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and used it as a catalyst to truly start living.

She is the host of the Mom Is In Control Podcast where she reveals her most vulnerable truths about womanhood, marriage, parenting, living through stage 4 cancer, and running a successful business without burning out. She is releasing her first book in March 2021 called Dying to be a Good holding a baby

According to Heather, women predominantly feel guilt and therefore shut down. She has learned how to co-create with the guilt to achieve the results she desires in her life.

Something she asks herself frequently is…

“Will this get me closer to how I want to feel?”

Taking the micro-actions to get out of our way will help you get to the feeling you desire. It takes consistency and Heather teaches this to all her clients.

Her own experience with cancer where she was literally dying has helped her realize what she needs to do to focus on her big WHY.

Learning how to co-create with guilt has been a game-changer for her. Especially when it comes to parenting and owning a business.

How have you seen guilt get in your own way?

Have you been able to work through it and still work toward your dreams?

Are you allowing yourself to truly feel ALIVE?

Don’t wait until you are dying to be a good mother before you take action and work through your discomfort.

Heather Chauvin is a leadership coach who helps ambitious, overwhelmed women conquer their fears and become leaders at work and home.

Drawing from her professional experience as a social worker and her life experience raising three boys, Heather created a signature approach to help her clients.  This approach allows them to create and enjoy sustainability, profitability, and ease in business and life.

When Heather isn’t busy driving her boys to hockey practice, you can find her curled up on the couch next to her husband, planning their next family adventure.
