Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy.
While it comes with massive perks, there is also a tradeoff between a traditional corporate job and running the show. One of the greatest hurdles for myself and my clients is emotional management.
The highs are sooo sweet and the lows… just flat out suck. In this week’s episode, I share tips on how to manage emotions along the journey. I also share my perspective on problem-solving that applies not only to business but also to LIFE.
As an entrepreneur, you find yourself asking:
- Is this a “hell yes” or is it a no?- If it’s not a “hell yes,” then maybe your attention needs to be focused elsewhere
- Does that action connect to your most important goal?
- Decisions have to be based off data- what is working and what isn’t?
Weeds are obnoxious…
You might think you have gotten the whole thing, but maybe you just got the top half and the roots are still deeply planted.
This is the same with our business problems. Additionally, your business problems are actually personal problems. Yes, I said it.
When it comes to problems, you have two options:
- Trim away at the surface or
- Get after the CORE problem
If you continually just scratch the surface of your personal (business) problems, you will never got the ROOT of what is causing that problem.
As an entrepreneur, it takes courage and bold action to address the core of what is going on so you can better manage the emotional roller coaster.
